Job Did What?!

I can only imagine! Job lost his children all of them,all of his animals,the sheep and all of the shepherds, all of his camels and his servants! And we think we have it bad! It’s really hard to loose stuff but loosing all of your family at one time can really take a toil on your mind and body. I get really upset when I loose things or when things are not going my way! But Job has a lesson here for us. Instead of running to our friends or Pastor,there is nothing wrong with that,but we must learn to do as Job did! He remembered to whom he belonged and keep his faith in tact. Sometimes when bad things happen we often wonder why all of this happened to good people,well Job was blameless in God’s sight and yet much  trouble came to him. Often our trials come and take us by surprise and we are devastated! But Job went to Praise Position instantly! Immediately when Job heard all of the bad news he…

Job 1

20 At this, Job got up and tore his robe and shaved his head. Then he fell to the ground in worship 21 and said:

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
    and naked I will depart.
The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;
    may the name of the Lord be praised.”

22 In all this, Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing.

Oh wow this just blows my mind! Job didn’t fuss and complain or try to blame others,no he went directly into Praise Mode! And so should we,after all God has allowed every trial that comes and He has planned a way out for us. If you’re in the midst of something and you feel you can’t take any more,just remember what Job did and try it his way,there is always something to praise God for,even in the midst of our worst times. Don’t Give Up!

    Oh Pat . . .this was just perfect for me. Not because I’m going through anything right now but because when I do , I often go to people first with it. Thank you thank you for the reminder now to go to Him and praise first! God bless you!
