The Virgin Birth Of Jesus

Matthew 1

¹⁸ The birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. His mother Mary had been promised to Joseph in marriage. But before they were married, Mary realized that she was pregnant by the Holy Spirit. ¹⁹  Her husband Joseph was an honorable man and did not want to disgrace her publicly. So he decided to break the marriage agreement with her secretly.

²⁰  Joseph had this in mind when an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream. The angel said to him, “Joseph, descendant of David, don’t be afraid to take Mary as your wife. She is pregnant by the Holy Spirit.²¹  She will give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus [He Saves], because he will save his people from their sins.” ²² All this happened so that what the Lord had spoken through the prophet came true: ²³  “The virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel,” which means “God is with us.”

²⁴  When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him to do. He took Mary to be his wife. ²⁵ He did not have marital relations with her before she gave birth to a son. Joseph named the child Jesus.

Psalm 78 / Remember

You can say what you want to ,when it ‘s all said and done,and when the dust settles  God is still on His throne,God is still in total control! I love this Psalm,do read the whole of it. We cannot change God,and we need to really realize that. When it seems as if you’ve gone through more than enough,as the children of Israel had to feel. After the dust has settled,this is the question. Can you still trust God?  God is saying do you really trust me even though you don’t understand this situation you’re in. Yes you’re hurting, but you have not been destroyed. You’re still a winner in my sight,God is saying and that’s all that matters. God has always taken good care of his children,even though they gave him lip service as we sometimes do.  God is so good and merciful and so understanding and I am so thankful  for that. I’m still going through a lot right now,and it hurts and I do not like it. But God’s word gives me good encouragement as I remember what he has done for my ancestors in the past. As you stand with God concerning your situation,do remember what he has already brought you through. And be encouraged so that you do not give up,we are living in some hard times and stress levels run high. But let’s remember ( 52 But he led his own people like a flock of sheep,

guiding them safely through the wilderness.
⁵³ He kept them safe so they were not afraid;
but the sea covered their enemies.)

Psalm 78:27   He cared for them with a true heart
and led them with skillful hands.

God is for us as he was the children of Israel .

Ashes?

Only God can bring beauty out of ashes . Ashes  represent “Total” destruction.When it feels like you’re all alone-Call on Jesus

When you feel like you’re totally misunderstood  -Call on Jesus.When your  friends or family turn their backs on you-Call on Jesus,When your husband has just walked out on you,and you need him now-Call on Jesus.When you’ve lost everything near and dear to you-Call on Jesus,When your own brothers and sisters in Christ treat you bad,talk about you and turn away-Call on Jesus.

It “really” looks like everything in your life and everything in this world has gone slap crazy! You need to take another look,it’s time to look up. Only God sees and knows about the pain and heartache that now surrounds and holds you. Look up for God’s love for you is great! You look to Jesus and call on him and mean business and He will not only hear,but He will answer.

Jesus Christ is Alive.

Isaiah 61:

3 To all who mourn in Israel,

he will give a crown of beauty for ashes,

a joyous blessing instead of mourning,

festive praise instead of despair.

In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks

that the LORD has planted for his own glory.

Jeremiah 17:7,8

7  “But blessed are those who trust in the LORD

and have made the LORD their hope and confidence.

8  They are like trees planted along a riverbank,

with roots that reach deep into the water.

Such trees are not bothered by the heat

or worried by long months of drought.

Their leaves stay green,

and they never stop producing fruit.
