Habakkuk 3:17 Even though the fig trees
have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on
the vine, even though olive crops fails
and the fields lie empty and barren
,even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle
barns are empty.Yet will I rejoice in the Lord!I
will be joyful in the God of my Salvation.
REJOICE,REJOICE I SAY
FOR GOD HAS BLESSED US WITH
ANOTHER DAY
THIS IS THE REASON I CAN SING
AND REJOICE TO THE KING
EVEN DURING TIMES OF LACK
I CAN PRAISE HIM WITHOUT
TURNING BACK
FOR JESUS MY KING
IS IN CONTROL OF EVERYTHING
SO REJOICE,REJOICE TODAY
AND SING
OUT PRAISES TO OUR KING.
Love in Christ Pat
What a beautifully written poem to go along with your chosen scripture.
What great words to read “Jesus my King is in control of everything, so Rejoice!”

Patty Ann,
What a wonderful verse from Habbakuk to share along with your poem….. The great truth you share is that no matter what happens to us, we can trust God, our King, because He alone is the Almighty and there simply is no other true king or god….. Let us keep on rejoicing greatly!
