Jesus Is Coming!

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words 1 Thessalonians 4:15~18 (NKJV)

I talked a bit about waiting on God in my last post, and as we wait we sometimes get confused. Because the voices are always trying to get our attention so at times it’s as if we’re being torn into pieces.  By the two forces coming against us, the enemy without and the enemy within. But it’s because of the finished work of Jesus Christ that we can rejoice! For God’s Word is true and we’re looking forward to a building not made by human hands. There will be a meeting in the air someday soon and the joy that gives us that believe, cannot compared to any thing we go through now.And O the joy of knowing our loved ones are safe in Jesus arms, since they died believing, they will see his face first. What a awesome time that will be when Jesus Comes and his angels will gather us from the 4 corners of this earth, and we will forever be with our Lord and Great King.

Are you listening for that shout? Praise God Jesus Is Coming Back.

Dear Heavenly Father touch your people today, please put them under heavy conviction and help them to know and realize that you are the only true and living God.Father please help your people to repent and call on your Son Jesus Christ for their salvation,in Jesus name.Amen

Love in Christ Pat

  1. “The King is Coming” is such an inspiring song. We absolutely will not live the same way if we keep eternity as our perspective! Thank you for the reminder today!

  2. Good afternoon. In an age of unprecidented hecticity, we must always be mindful that it’s only for a season and that soon (be it by the grave or by the air) we will enter our eternal abode. “Even, so come, Lord Jesus.” Thanks for a much needed reminder on a day that, for us, has been one of unexpected upheaval.

    Blessings always in Jesus name.

A friend and I were speaking of His second coming yesterday. So much happening around us … it’s hard not to take note!

Thanks for pouring your heart out and for praying for us. Beautiful song, too!

Praying we’ll be ready and willing to leave ‘stuff’ behind and keep our eyes on Him.

  5. Hi Pat,

Right on…. God’s word tells us to keep in mind that He is coming…. Our Lord does not want us to ever forget that…. And, He has even promised to be with us to the end…. We can’t ask for anything better than that. πŸ™‚

    Love,
    Margaret

  6. Hello Pat!

Amen, amen! The King is coming! The song was wonderful! Thank you for reminding us, that Jesus is soon to come! No matter what we’re going through now, it doesn’t begin to compare, with the glory that shall be revealed in us, at His appearing! Praise God!

My spirit was stirred, after reading your blog, and listening to the song! Thank you so much! God bless you!

  7. Hi Pat, I am an artist and songwriter, and I have a beautiful photo of a statue of Jesus with a Hawaiian lei around his neck in all the rainbow colors. Many times people ask me “what is art ? ” This is always the question for artwork, and I thought of this beautiful answer when I look at that picture of Jesus, “It is finished.” Real art is finished, there is nothing left to be shown , or said, and Jesus’ Life was a living work of art to allow us to see the heart of our creator. So we can love. Thank you for having this wonderful blog, Jen

  8. Well that is really a good answer and I never thought of art in that way, thanks for sharing that info Jen. I’m taking it easy gaming and booting around reading other blogs here and there.I enjoy what other brothers &sisters have to share,it’s so funny I’ll read one that really touches me then forget to bookmark it.Thanks for stopping in again and I hope you’re enjoying your night.
