Stress

This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it Amen. God is so good and so worthy of all of our praise,in the midst of our pain and doing good times. Job teaches us much about pain and praise, even after his great loss,Job said blessed be the name of the Lord, the Lord has given and it’s His to take away. Job never forgot about God and he never blamed God.We to should learn to respect and honor God no matter what’s going on in our lives. The trials and test do get hard to bear, but then we must remember what the word of God says  in Hebrews 12:2 Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,we do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus,on whom our faith depends from start to finish.  As we concentrate on all Jesus went through to secure our souls, then what we’re facing begins to look senseless. The word of God is filled with promises of God to help us,I love what God promises in Lamentations 3:31 The Lord does not abandon any one forever,God is not about to leave us,what happens is we tend to walk away from God. Especially doing our different trials,Peter also tells us that we should not be surprised by our fiery trials and tribulations, because we’ve been warned that they are coming ( 1Peter 1:6,7).So many scriptures warn us to hold on and trust in God and in these times we’re living in now,we need to really dig into the word for real.  In closing I just want to remind you of one of my favorite scriptures Isaiah 43:1 Do not be afraid, when you go through, when you go through, praise God we do go through,we are not left  alone!

Love in Christ Pat

    Good morning Pat,

I truly enjoyed this post. God’s word tells us to, “count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of our faith worketh patience.” It reminds me of taking medicine that tastes awful, but the end result, is that we feel so much better, after having done so.

Thanks again, for a good word. God bless!!!!!

      Good morning Ms. Bussey
I see I’m not the only one up early this beautiful morning, thanks so much for your encouraging comment! You know we talked about getting it “hot” off the press, well that’s what your comment is. I love this: “It reminds me of taking medicine that tastes awful, but the end result, is that we feel so much better, after having done so”. And how very true that is.
      Love ya 😀

Job didn’t have the benefit of reading the book of Jon so he didn’t know Satan was responsible for his calamity. Yet he trusted God enough to believe God would see him through. In the end he had twice as much as he had before. God is a restorer. Let’s keep the faith and go through the storms of life. Its how we react to the storm that draws others to His saving grace. Great job Pat

Good morning Fredrick, how nice to see your smiling face, you’re so right that is one thing that stands out to me when I read Job! God let us look into the whole situation that takes place. Yep even though satan gave Job his best shot ,Job did past that test in flying color, and as long as we don’t give up God will take us through. Love your comment just such a good word this morning.
“Let’s keep the faith and go through the storms of life. Its how we react to the storm that draws others to His saving grace”. Amen to this!

Hi my friend, I enjoyed reading this very much. Faith does worketh patience, and through that we become stronger in the Lord and learn to trust Him more and more as each day goes by. We all really do need to be strong in our faith in these last days. The Lord I do feel will soon be coming back to take us home. Love Vi

I love your letter of encouragement and faith, Pat! 🙂 It is often during those times of trials that we see Him prove Himself faithful to us, over and over again. Not that I look forward to those times . . .but I do look forward to seeing Him glorified in it all!
God bless you as you walk with Him today, going through with Jesus!

My dear Pat, My prayers are joined with yours! I just wrote a poem titled “I Know” that I think you will like. There are many different types of pain that we all must deal with every day but the pain that I know you suffer with makes it all the much harder. I love you and pray blessings and rest upon you, Teresa
