In The Garden

Even in beautiful places there can be so much sadness . We don’t have a clue as to how crushed Jesus was doing this time .

Matthew 26:38-39 NKJV

Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.1-cd

But this does let us know that Jesus understands when we are in beautiful places and full of darkness . When we feel sad ,confused ,alone and full of doubt and fear we can look to Him who knows and cares for us. For he felt crushed beyond belief and God sustained him. Even though we have the word of God to hold onto there are times when it seems as if we cannot go another step ! Once again we must remind ourselves to look to Him for he did say …
Acts 14:22 NKJV

strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

2 Timothy 3:12( NKJV )Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

Hebrews 2:17-18 NKJV

Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.

Sometimes our trials and tribulations come at us so fast it makes us tremble, but God has and always will bring us through. I am so glad that Jesus understands when we have many sad times in beautiful places!
Love in Christ Pat

Hello again Pat. I want to thank you again for retweeting so many of my tweets or posts. Because of you, I finally took time to learn how to use Twitter properly. I’ve had a Twitter account for a few years, but never fully utilized it to do what it does best, “reach people from all walks of life.” Your thoughtfulness and big heart helped me realize how much Twitter can assist me in my eMinistry. Bless you my sister-in-Christ.
