Salvation

Luke 23

39 One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, “Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!” 40 But the other answered, and rebuking him said, “Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? 41 “And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” 42 And he was saying, (((((“Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!” 43 And He said to him, “Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.” )))))NLB

After reading and reading again these scriptures,I often wonder if we make coming to Jesus to complicated. As you can see here with this sinner and Jesus it was not difficult at all. He wasn’t rushed out to be baptized or rushed to the front of the church to testify and repent. These scriptures surely contain so much, but this is my focus. For Jesus made it so easy to get saved and we tend to push others with our own ideals of what must be done before you’re saved. Lord help us please to concentrate  on you,as we live and move around here on earth, help us do your will, your way. Please help us not to think more highly of ourselves, than we do others. We’re here to serve and not to judge and push others into what we think ought to be.Help us Lord to look at your word and learn from you.Amen

That is what salvation is all about “Love” and doing things God’s way,and let’s not forget being real hurts-but it’s best others are so tired of “fake Christians”,let’s keep it real and simple like Jesus did with this sinner.Amen

Love in Christ Pat

You have blessed me so much with this. As I wonder about loved ones, and if they are saved or not, because of this or that . . .well, I’ll just stop doing the frenzy wiggle thing. 🙂
God bless you, Pat, for allowing His hope to shine through you!

I will say Amen to that Pat. It doesn’t matter where one ask Jesus into their heart , all that mattter is they ask Him. Jesus said to come to me as a little child. You are a blessing my friend and Jesus is using you in a mighty way. Love Vi

Awesome post Pat well said. Sometimes we Christians can be so “heavenly minded” we’re no “earthly good”
