Why We Suffer?

As believers the word of God is clear even if you’ve been taught that we want yes we will according to the word

John 15:19 The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.

The Cross represents terrible suffering and Jesus endured it all to give us eternal life

The righteous person may have many troubles,
but the Lord delivers him from them all

Psalms 34:19

Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin.

1 Peter 4:1

For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him.

Philippians 1:29

So as we go through the difficulties of life let us always remember what Jesus went through and

 We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy  awaiting him, he endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Hebrews 12:2
