He Turned Away

35 Peter said to Him, “Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” Matthew 26

Sometimes in our lives we feel just like Peter we feel so sure of ourselves but lets remember Jesus knows us better. That night when Jesus was taken away all of His disciples turned away but Jesus at this time zeroed in on Peter there’s a little Peter in us all but Jesus knows what’s needed to get our focus back on Him, doing times of stress we tend to turn away from the Lord especially if our prayers aren’t answered as quickly as we had hoped they would be. But God is always aware of what we’re going through and He will never turn away from us I truly love this scripture

Mark 16

. But go, tell His disciples—and Peter—that He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him, as He said to you.”

Jesus makes sure that Peter knows that He hasn’t forgotten him even though he turned away and denied Him! Our God is so awesome He will let nothing separate us from Him Hallelujah He’ll keep running after us.

  1. This post reminds me of the song ‘Reckless Love’ by Bethel Music. I like how you pointed out that Jesus hadn’t forgotten Peter even after he denied him. There are times when we aren’t the best Christians, but it’s so reassuring to know God doesn’t give up on us. Thanks for sharing!

  2. God Bless You!! I Personally remember that day when I went back into this world. I was a Baby Christian at the time. I can say that Jesus Christ was with me, and He knew why, what, and how that happen. I was considered as the 99 sheep. He came for me, and I’m so thankful and grateful He did. He forgave me for that. He knew I didn’t no any better. He had let me know that He had not forsaken me, and He knew that I was a baby. Today I’m being fed (( Meat)). I tell people today when we are sowing seeds, and those seeds that do take root. We are to still nurture those who are babies in Christ. Growth doesn’t happen over night. They are being fed by milk until they are ready for the meat. ((Hugs)) 🙂

It is a level, by levels etc. They are being fed by milk until they are ready for the meat. And still, we need to be there for them as well. We are in a Spiritual War, and we must stay equipped. \0/\0/ ((Hugs)) 🙂
