Usually we only quote and share Jeremiah 29:11 but I want to call your attention to Jeremiah 29:1~10 God is encouraging his people to settle down let your sons and daughters get married build your homes plant your gardens work for the peace and prosperity of the city, In other words get comfortable for you will be here for awhile! In the midst of our hard places we want out as soon as possible but God’s timing is so different from ours. God also told them to pray and so should we while waiting on God’s time to be fulfilled, it’s so hard to be still while waiting on God we feel we must be doing something but most of the time what we do is make a mess!
We also feel like God has forgotten us but that is never going to happen He loves us to much! For then comes the reassuring promise of Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Yes His plans for us are greater than what we’re going through right now so be still and let God do what He has planned the end results will be wonderful.
I'm just so thankful to Jesus Christ my Saviour for all He has Kept me from and for all He has brought me through! Jesus Christ our Saviour is excellent merciful and great! I'm so glad and so happy to be saved especially in these days and times up early just thinking about Jesus He means everything to me! Love you all and enjoy your day remember you are greatly loved ❤️❤️ Jesus will never forget us. He is filled with grace and compassion for us all Love in Christ Pat
4 Then a herald shouted out, “People of all races and nations and languages, listen to the king’s command!5 When you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes, and other musical instruments,t bow to the ground to worship King Nebuchadnezzar’s gold statue. 6 Anyone who refuses to obey will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace.”
This threat could have easily made Shadrach,Meshach and Abednego bow down but it did not. And the reason why is because of who was standing up in them. The same God that created the whole universe and everything in it. We would do well to remember in the midst of our disappointments, heartache and all of the painful situations we go through, that Jesus Christ is standing up in us. And he will deliver, hold keep us no matter how bad the situation gets. This world is changing more and more each day and we see many fainting because of fear, but that’s not how Jesus wants us to be. Jesus has all power and he can take us through anything,we need not bow down in fear.
16Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. 18 But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”
I love these scriptures in Daniel and we need to have the same attitude,They said O Nebuchadnezzar, our God “is able to save us,and he will rescue us from your power, but if he doesn’t”. Praise God even if he doesn’t that’s okay, because in Christ Jesus we are secure forever, and Heaven awaits us “HALLELUJAH”! We must get more Heavenly minded because the trials and tribulations are getting worse and fainting is not what we want nor is that what Jesus wants.
I praise and thank God for where I am right now ! I’ve read about my Sisters and Brothers Praising God in The Middle of being made(through pain and suffering) ,but there is nothing like experience, nothing like it . My sister has been through terrible pain quiet awhile and while she talked to me about the terrible pain I could not feel it like she was experiencing it. Then early Monday morning something happened, I’ve been having pain from arthritis before but this pain level was like a 12 or more to me whew! As I was reminiscing with my sister she said that’s the kind of pain I’m going through, while I could see the expression of her pain on certain day’s, the feeling wasn’t there . But God is so good and awesome in the middle of pain until it’s truly mind blowing! I have new medication now praise God and the pain is not as extreme, but what I’m learning even more is that God is with me in this, there is purpose in our pain God set it up that way. As you can recall there are many scriptures concerning the process of pain and in fact Jesus himself endured much pain and rejection so He truly knows what it is like to be a human being.
For God called you to do good, even if it means suffering, just as Christ suffered for you. He is your example, and you must follow in his steps.
1 Peter 2:21 NLT
Establishing and strengthening the souls and the hearts of the disciples, urging and warning and encouraging them to stand firm in the faith, and [telling them] that it is through many hardships and tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.
Acts 14:22 AMP
And this is part of the purpose
He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. For the more we suffer for Christ, the more God will shower us with his comfort through Christ.
2 Corinthians 1:4-5 NLT
And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Romans 8:28 NLT
There is no comfort like the Lords, but after going through some pain and difficulty we can identify with others and show mercy. It’s called sciatica and to much pressure on my right foot causes me to squirm! I’m also learning that you can see dirt at different places in a wheel chair 🙂 🙂
