What Are You Looking For?

 What are you looking for?

Are you looking for a friend
that will walk with you until the
end

What  are you looking for
Do you need a healer
with all power in his
hands

What are you looking for
Is it a comforter who
loves and understands
you
What are you looking for
A deliverer that can change
those old habits
and make you brand
new

What are you looking for

Is it a miracle worker
just when you need
one

What are you looking for

If it’s a precious caring understanding Saviour
with all power in His hands

Who still heals the sick today and will totally

deliver you and set you free.

And make your life shine

for others to see

Well you can find all of

that

And more in me,Jesus.

John 1:38 ( a)

When Jesus turned and noticed them following Him,

He asked them,”What are you looking for?

Standing Up!

Daniel 3

4 Then a herald shouted out, “People of all races and nations and languages, listen to the king’s command!5 When you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes, and other musical instruments,t bow to the ground to worship King Nebuchadnezzar’s gold statue. 6 Anyone who refuses to obey will immediately be thrown into a blazing furnace.”

This threat could have easily made Shadrach,Meshach and Abednego bow down but it did not. And the reason why is because of who was standing up in them. The same God that created the whole universe and everything in it.   We would do well to remember in the midst of our disappointments,heartache and all of the painful situations we go through,that Jesus Christ is standing up in us. And he will deliver,hold  keep us no matter how bad the situation gets. This world is changing more and more each day and we see many fainting because of fear,but that’s not how Jesus wants us to be. Jesus has all power and he can take us through anything,we need not bow down in fear. 

Daniel 3

16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. 17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. 18 But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”

I love these scriptures in Daniel and  we need to have the same attitude,They said O Nebuchadnezzar,our God “is able to save us,and he will rescue us from your power,but if he doesn’t”. Praise God even if he doesn’t that’s okay,because in Christ Jesus we are secure forever,and Heaven awaits us “HALLELUJAH”! We must get more Heavenly minded because the trials and tribulations are getting worse and fainting is not what we want nor is that what Jesus wants.
