Sorrows

And Jesus answered and said to them: “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Matthew 24)

As I watched the news and saw the Tsunami caused by the Japanese earthquake,I was in awe at the force water has, it even moved huge ships as if it was a small car. Wooo I just keep thinking of what’s going through the minds of the people there, and what would we do if this happens here. And from what I’ve heard and know it’s possible. Then God‘s Word came to mind concerning the things we are seeing all over the world, and God said these things are just the beginning. Mercy, mercy Lord have mercy on your people that survived and all of your people all over the world. Father help your people to know that all of our protection is found in you. Help us Heavenly Father to recognize you and your Son Jesus Christ, for the things coming will fill our hearts with such fear that our mind can hardly handle it. Help us to know and believe that with you all things are possible, even peace in these trying times. For your Word is going to be fulfilled each and every day,so Father help us to prepare ourselves by calling on the name of Jesus for forgiveness and salvation.Amen

John 12

44 Jesus shouted to the crowds, “If you trust me, you are trusting not only me, but also God who sent me. 45 For when you see me, you are seeing the one who sent me. 46 I have come as a light to shine in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the darkness.

John 14

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

We have God’s Word and as we stay in his Word our faith gets stronger,it’s a wonderful thing to know that God is real and that Jesus came to rescue us. In order to receive you must first believe.

Final Destination

Sharing another post I wrote years ago ,I hope it’s a blessing to you.

Matthew 8:18
18 When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he instructed his disciples to cross to the other side of the lake.
Jesus told his disciples we’re going to the other side of the lake,Then Jesus went to take a nap.Jesus knew the storm was ahead and yet he went to sleep! I totally love this picture Jesus is as calm as can be,as I should be when the storms of life arise.Jesus did not have any fear or wondering about what to do! The storm hits the boat and it’s being tossed up and down from one side to the other.Waves are pounding the boat and yet Jesus is at rest, what a beautiful picture! On the other hand the disciples are frantic with fear, even after all of the miracles they’ve seen Jesus do,they panic.Just as we do,even after all he has brought us through,we panic in the midst of the storm. It’s as if our brains are defected the way we tend to forget what Jesus did yesterday to pull us through. Even though we know Jesus has given us peace and a way out before, still we doubt. I praise and thank God for the Holy Spirit and the way he speaks to me.Our trials and tribulations are not permanent ,thank you Jesus and they are working for our benefit. We must learn to listen to God,and not our flesh or the devil.God’s words are full of power, and when he says we’re going to the other side, that’s what he means. There is nothing here, nothing in our pass or present that can stop our Final Destination, which is heaven.
Scripture: Matthew 8:23~27
Isaiah 43:1~3

Heavenly Father help us to settle down and keep looking to you, knowing that you’re in the boat with us and that you will get us safely to our final destination. No mattter what we endure here.Help us Father to be calm in our storms and give you praise for you alone are worthy.Amen

“Resting”! ?

My mind is racing this morning from one thought to the next,Lord help me! Our world is in turmoil, but why should we be filled with anger as if all of these happenings are strange? God left us His word and we should be finding the comfort and hope we need to carry us through. But many are filled with hate and anger, and I just wonder, where is your faith? None of what we see or hear or think we’re so right about should move us away from God. This “Election” has brought out the worse in so many, and I know I should not be surprised by the way some who say they are Christians are acting. I see History repeating it’s self for sure, just as in Jesus day,He said the love of many would wax cold, mercy. What are we to do in this time of unrest ( a state of turmoil)? Well let’s go to the word of God where all of our help and strength comes from.

In Matthew 24 we find that unrest is part of God’s plan for this time in History.

F. Great falling away from true faith:

2 Thes.2:2,3  The day of Christ shall not come except there come a falling away (apostasy) first

Mat. 24:12  Iniquity shall abound…the love of many shall wax cold

Mat. 24:5,11,24  Arise false Christs, & false prophets…deceive many

1Tim. 4:1  In latter times some shall depart from the faith… giving heed to doctrines of devils

Taken from  :http://deeptruths.com/  by the way that is a very good sight.

God has forewarned us of these times we’re seeing, and if we’re to stand we must trust God. There is no other right way! Let’s rest :

Psalms 37:7 Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

Philippians 4:6-7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
