Trust

Trusting in God during times of stress,heartache and loneliness.Trying times brings a lot of things to the surface that’s for sure. I read a blog today about the Potter & the Clay,and the writer brought out a lot of good points like,God is in control of even the small things we take for granted. God turns up the heat to get rid of baggage  we really don’t need. And I tell you it works! Only God can bring good out of a bad,sad,ugly situation. It’s truly amazing  how God does things,truly it is ashes into beauty . Really we think we’re trusting God until the heat is turned up,and we get our eyes off of God,and onto the problem. Of course that’s where satan wants us, then he picks and pokes us trying to make us believe his lies! We are all  used to  his formulas ,he hasn’t  changed  since he deceived  Adam & Eve, O how I hate him! But even in the midst of our fears and doubts God is with us ,Praise Him for that,because we surely could not make it without him being for us. Um that brings these scriptures to mind : Romans 8:28 ~39  Since God called us,chose us and we are predestined- Who can separate us from his love and care.  Not one thing can separate us,nothing to come,nothing in the past or the future “Hallelujah”! God has us set for life here and eternal life,and I am so grateful. And I thank God I’m going through,that means I will not stay here Amen. I appreciate you all so very much.

Peace

The peace that the world offers is very conditional,because as soon as something is not going our way,then there goes our peace.But there is one who promises peace and his peace is good regardless to what is going on around you! His peace will keep you when troubles come,when everyone else is falling apart,his peace will keep you settled,while waiting on his answer. This other peace will keep you when the boat is “rocking and reeling”! I love and enjoy having peace,as I’m sure you do also. Fretting and doubting only causes more pain and stress,while you’re already in the middle of a difficult situation. Where you maybe wondering is this peace that can keep you in the midst of any storm? Here is where I get peace,lasting powerful peace:( John 14:27) “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.(NASB)

I tell ya Jesus Christ walked this earth every day in perfect peace,and he has left this peace to those who believe. Yes Jesus is the peace giver,and he keeps us in the midst of our troubles,while we lean and depend on him. Jesus is longing to have a relationship with you,it is not his will for you to be fretting,sad,and full of doubt. He has given you a choice,remember Jesus has special blessings for those that choose to believe,trust and follow him.

Stress

This is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it Amen. God is so good and so worthy of all of our praise,in the midst of our pain and doing good times. Job teaches us much about pain and praise,even after his great loss,Job said blessed be the name of the Lord,the Lord has given and it’s His to take away. Job never forgot about God and he never blamed God.We to should learn to respect and honor God no matter what’s going on in our lives.The trials and test do get hard to bear,but then we must remember what the word of God says  in Hebrews 12:2 Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,we do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus,on whom our faith depends from start to finish.  As we concentrate on all Jesus went through to secure our souls,then what we’re facing begins to look senseless. The word of God is filled with promises of God to help us,I love what God promises in Lamentations 3:31 The Lord does not abandon any one forever,God is not about to leave us,what happens is we tend to walk away from God. Especially doing our different trials,Peter also tells us that we should not be surprised by our fiery trials and tribulations,because we’ve been warned that they are coming ( 1Peter 1:6,7).So many scriptures warn us to hold on and trust in God and in these times we’re living in now,we need to really dig into the word for real.  In closing I just want to remind you of one of my favorite scriptures Isaiah 43:1 Do not be afraid,when you go through,when you go through, praise God we do go through,we are not left  alone!
