What a question! When we accepted Jesus as our Saviour what were we really expecting? I’m sure as we ponder that question we will come to the conclusion that following Jesus Christ is not exactly what we expected! But as we grow in the Lord
our expectations change. But what we were looking for is someone who will do things our way ,right ☺ but as we walk with the Lord we learn that is not the way. Sometimes disappointment sets in and really cloud our view of of Saviour and His ways ! Thank God for the Holy Spirit for He will surely bring our thoughts and desires around to what we should be looking for, and that is to do His will regardless to what we are really looking for in Christ Jesus. How Awesome God is and just to know Him is Amazing!
Father help us to desire you and your will Father help us to know you truly are who we are looking for in Jesus name Amen

So often on my walk of faith I have looked for the wrong things! Great reminder for us to be closer to God each day. Look for His closeness!
